Role Overview

This role involves coaching young adults with disabilities to develop essential life skills. You will work closely with participants to set and achieve goals related to employment, education, social connections, and community participation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver structured group programs across various interest and skill-building areas
  • Lead small-group and 1:1 activities such as travel training, digital skills, budgeting, or goal-setting
  • Promote self-determination and confidence by encouraging participants to make choices, solve problems, and reflect on their progress

Requirements:
  • Experience working with people with disabilities or in related support, education, or youth development roles
  • Strong communication, organisation, and digital skills
  • A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach

By providing person-led programs, we empower young people with disabilities to build skills, confidence, and independence, leading to real outcomes in open employment, social connections, and independent living.
