Job Description: As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. This includes tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, benchtops, and sinks, and making beds and changing linens.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To perform this role effectively, you should have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You should also be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed.

Success Criteria: Success in this role will be measured by guest feedback, zero call backs from management to address missed areas, positive feedback from operations manager, and time management improvement without reduction in cleaning standards.

Linen, Supplies & Storage: It is essential that all supplies are kept in a neat, orderly and safe manner, and that adequate supplies are held at all times. You must maintain accurate and current records of stock movement, advise housekeeping team leader of supplies and equipment as needed, and ensure that vehicles are operated with care and are maintained in clean, well-stocked readiness.
