This is a challenging role for a motivated and experienced Arts Manager to lead the delivery of Council's arts, events, and cultural programs.

Job Description

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing key assets such as public art, community events, and venues to enrich local life and drive the visitor economy. This includes developing and implementing strategic plans, building partnerships with artists, First Nations communities, schools, and creative industries.

  • Inspire and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver bold, inclusive, and innovative cultural programming that drives community vibrancy and economic growth.
  • Manage marketing and sponsorship strategies to grow reach, revenue, and recognition.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to secure external funding through grants, philanthropy, and business cases.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Arts Administration, Cultural Management, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven success delivering large-scale arts, events, or cultural programs in complex, multi-venue environments.
  • Strong skills in audience development, sponsorship acquisition, and strategic marketing.
  • Solid financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue generation.
