Event Management Supervisor Role

Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach offers a luxurious hotel experience with 296 elegantly designed rooms and suites showcasing stunning views of the Pacific Ocean or Hinterland.

This key position oversees banquet event set-up, service, and pack-down to ensure seamless execution and memorable guest experiences. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and inspiring the Banquets team to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborating with Events, Culinary, and F&B leadership teams to exceed guest expectations through tailored event experiences
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation, safety, and cleanliness in all banquet areas
  • Developing and coaching team members in luxury service standards
  • Anticipating and resolving guest needs efficiently and effectively

Qualifications for Success

To excel in this role, candidates will require:

  • Previous leadership experience in banquets or events within a hotel or function venue
  • A proven track record of calmness under pressure during busy periods and strong communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • A valid RSA license and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
