Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a qualified individual to lead teaching teams within the school of nursing and midwifery in our undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for leading unit and course teaching teams, collaborating with other teaching teams to develop effective curricula and learning materials.
  • This role involves integrating industry clinical and research practice into unit course design to enhance student learning experiences and success.
  • The successful candidate will design collaborative learning opportunities at the course level, support diverse learners by creating accessible and inclusive unit and course materials, and provide clear assessment criteria and timely feedback.
  • They will also contribute to seeking funding for research and creative activities, including applications for external competitive funding and translation activities.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a registered nurse.
  • A PhD in a relevant discipline or other relevant qualifications and experience is required.
  • Excellent records of scholarly learning and teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs, including innovative curriculum design, are essential.
  • Demonstrated capacity and passion for leadership of teaching, research, and administration are also necessary.
