We are seeking a skilled Floral Horticulturist - Orchid Specialist to join our team at Lynch Group.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating high-quality Phalaenopsis orchids, with a focus on environmental control systems and potting media requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivation and Care: Knowledge of Phalaenopsis life cycles, stages of growth, and environmental factors affecting growth.
  • Pest and Disease Management: Ability to identify common pests and diseases and implement effective control measures.
  • Greenhouse Operations: Familiarity with irrigation system management, fertilizing, pest control, transplanting, and greenhouse environmental control systems.
  • Plant Grading: Skill in grading Phalaenopsis plants according to quality and size standards.
  • Basic Plant Physiology: Understanding of plant growth and response to different environmental conditions.
Requirements
