Job2Go Pty Ltd is seeking a Transport Company Manager to oversee the operations of their transportation company in Yatala, Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance and disposal of vehicles in the company's fleet.
  • Ensure timely payment of insurance and registration for all vehicles.
  • Coordinate regular servicing and repairs to ensure vehicles are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Verify that all vehicles comply with regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Screen and hire drivers who meet the company's hiring criteria and possess necessary licenses and certifications.
  • Provide training to drivers on company policies and safety procedures.
  • Establish clear payment policies and communicate them to customers at the time of booking.
  • Maintain accurate records of all rental transactions, including invoices, payment receipts, and correspondence related to payments.
  • Create and manage rental schedules, considering factors like vehicle availability and customer demands.
  • Utilize GPS and tracking systems to monitor vehicle locations and ensure they are on schedule.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures for drivers and vehicles, including guidelines for safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field.
  • At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
  • At least four years of prior experience as a Transport Company Manager or similar.
