About this role
Job descriptionWe are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing contemporary clinical pharmacy services to our facilities within the Rockhampton Hospital campus and other facilities throughout the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
You will function as part of a team and contribute to a broad range of Quality Use of Medicines initiatives. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide medication management services and participate in quality improvement projects.
Key responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication therapy management, clinical monitoring, and patient education
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to your work
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in pharmacy
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a pharmacist in Australia
- Demonstrated level of knowledge, expertise, and skill in pharmacy practice ranging from base level to advanced
- Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a team and adapt to change
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills
