Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to join our team. The role will involve managing a range of fresh food products and sales channels to ensure we maximise sales opportunities, through ensuring a sustainable balance of availability and pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial sales planning, allocation, and movement of designated crop/products to agreed channels and strategies to optimise returns;
  • Conduct daily/weekly/monthly reporting and forecasting activities;
  • Manage relationships and information flows with wholesale buyers, distributors, and retailers;
  • Maintain active knowledge of supply, price, quality and opportunities within market, and share with relevant teams and individuals internally;
  • Develop strong internal relationships with farming, packhouse, logistics, and supply chain teams;
  • Develop, record and monitor promotional activity with key customers;
  • Negotiate business sales supply agreements in line with agreed pricing parameters;
  • Be contactable 24 hours per day as necessary to answer urgent internal and external calls.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in sales or supply chain-based functions, ideally in fresh produce;
  • Excellent people skills and commercial aptitude;
  • Strong administrative skills, including forecasting and financial experience;
  • Ability to work hard, be action oriented and full of energy;
  • Effectiveness in the use of your time;
  • Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
