Automotive Parts Storeperson

At our logistics company, we specialise in vehicle transport and storage. We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Parts Storeperson to join our team.

**Job Description:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, maintaining and issuing store items in line with company policies and procedures. This role involves working closely with the panel and build teams, interpreting various OEM systems, and ensuring that all inventory control systems are maintained accurately.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Receiving all incoming goods delivered to the site
  • Interpreting automotive parts and providing assistance to panel and build teams
  • Maintaining the inventory control system and performing stock takes when required
  • Inspecting and checking materials for damage
  • Handling and storing hazardous materials in compliance with company and legal requirements
  • Issuing automotive parts, materials and tools to vehicle build staff
  • Returning defective parts to suppliers or customers and following up on quarantined items

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Unrestricted and full-working rights in Australia
  • Manual Driver's Licence
  • Forklift Licence and experience in using Forklift
  • Intermediate Computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
