About The Role

As an Aged Care Professional at The Salvation Army, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. With a strong focus on person-centered care, you will build meaningful relationships with our consumers and be responsible for providing personal assistance and care to meet their individual needs.

You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality care, ensuring the dignity and privacy of our residents are maintained at all times. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing compassionate and respectful care to our residents
  • Assisting with medication management and implementing continence programs
  • Monitoring resident health and wellbeing, including routine checks and wound dressings
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to resident care plans

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and have a commitment to promoting the values and ethos of The Salvation Army. If you have a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care and current First Aid certification, we encourage you to apply.

About You

We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and experience working in a team environment. You should also possess a strong understanding of WHS and infection control principles, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
