Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our team. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define user requirements, driving the identification of dependencies, and developing design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, excellent coding skills in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, and at least 2+ years of technical engineering experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding skills in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding skills in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding skills in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

In addition to meeting Microsoft's security screening requirements, which may involve passing a background check and obtaining certain clearances, the selected candidate will be responsible for contributing to breaking down complex tasks into smaller items, providing estimates, and acting as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) on-call to monitor systems for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and obtain approval to restore them.
