Job Title: Hazmat Consultant

Are you a skilled and experienced professional looking to take on a challenging role in the field of hazmat consulting? We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Hazmat Consultant in Perth.

Job Description:

As a Hazmat Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting surveys, inspections, and managing asbestos remediation projects. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks associated with hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting surveys and inspections to identify potential hazards and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Managing asbestos remediation projects from planning to completion.
  • Developing and implementing plans to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Providing expert advice to clients on hazmat-related matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least two (2) years' experience as an asbestos surveyor.
  • A Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) certification.
  • Relevant qualifications such as IP401 - Identification of Asbestos in Bulk Samples (PLM) & IP402 - Surveying for ACM in Buildings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
