We're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our cloud operations group, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure across major CSPs.

Your primary focus will be on overseeing AWS cloud deployment, management, and scaling to support a robust data platform. You'll implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure optimal cloud-hosted service performance, availability, and reliability.

Additionally, you will develop and maintain automation scripts using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible to streamline operations and minimize manual intervention. Your expertise in cloud security principles, including IAM policies, security groups, and encryption, will be crucial in ensuring the integrity of our cloud environment.

You will lead incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborating closely with development, data engineering, and security teams, you will integrate new features and improvements into the cloud infrastructure.

A strong understanding of ITIL principles and experience with industry-standard ITIL tools, such as ServiceNow, will be beneficial. Flexibility and willingness to work in a 24x7 environment and adapt to shift schedules are essential.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field, and a minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud operations, with a strong focus on AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across major CSPs
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for optimal cloud-hosted service performance, availability, and reliability
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
  • Lead incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud operations, with a strong focus on AWS services
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and more
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or AWS CloudWatch
