Early Childhood Education Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing the Montessori philosophy and teaching methods to create a child-focused environment.
  • Developing and implementing intentional teaching plans to meet the diverse needs of students is crucial to their success.
  • The program must align with Montessori principles, which involve guiding the curriculum and practice to ensure it meets the high standards of education.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Learning: Implement the Montessori method to deliver high-quality education to students, focusing on social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Program Development: Develop and implement intentional teaching plans tailored to the unique needs of students.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the program aligns with Montessori principles, maintaining high standards of education.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA assessed equivalent) is required.
  • Montessori experience is preferred, but not necessary as training is offered.
  • Familiarity with National Quality Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines, and The Early Years Learning Framework is essential.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning is expected.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
  • A current Blue Card or Exemption Card is required.
  • Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or willingness to obtain is necessary.
