Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator to join our centre team. As an Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the learning experiences of children and contributing to the growth and development of our early childhood education service.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. They will also be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.

About the Role

This is a casual position that offers flexibility and adaptability. You will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional early childhood education and care services.

As an Educator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing engaging educational programs for children;
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues;
  • Contributing to the planning and delivery of educational activities and events;
  • Monitoring and reporting on child progress and development;
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent/higher qualification as recognized by ACECQA);
  • A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one;
  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis;
  • Current and valid Australian Work Rights;
Desirable Skills and Attributes

In addition to the above requirements, the following skills and attributes would be highly desirable:

  • Familiarity with National Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF);
  • Previous experience as an Educator, with proficiency in documenting children's development using relevant software;
  • Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all children;
  • Understanding of developmental milestones and design age-appropriate programs;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to collaborate within a diverse team and adapt to varying needs in an early childhood setting.
