Job Summary:

The Australian Defence Force is seeking a skilled Aerospace Technician to join its team. As a Fitter and Turner, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, service, and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components on Defence plant, aircraft, and other systems.


Your duties will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing issues with Defence plant, aircraft, and other systems
  • Manufacturing tools, jigs, dies, fixtures, and gauges
  • Repairing and modifying selected Ground and Aviation components
  • Operating ground and aviation fuel installations safely

As a Aerospace Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with complex systems. Your critical thinking and problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring the continued integrity of Defence Ground and Aviation Systems.
