Job Overview:

A retail merchandise handler is responsible for the receipt, organization, and storage of products in a warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in logistics or inventory management with strong organizational and time management skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accurately receive, unpack, and store incoming products
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe, and organized at all times
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as necessary
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a logistics or inventory management environment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in inventory management software
