Research Opportunity at AMSI
About the Role
AMSI invites applications for a Research Fellow in Analysis to work on the ARC Discovery Project "Optimal shapes in geometry and physics: Isoperimetry in modern analysis". The successful candidate will investigate isoperimetry from the point of view of partial differential equations, geometric analysis, eigenvalue estimates, and differential geometry.
About the Project
The project is led by leading scholars in the field, Paul Bryan, and Daniel Hauer. The Research Fellow will collaborate with these scholars, conduct cutting-edge research, and contribute to the development of new theories and models.
Requirements
Applicants must have a PhD in Mathematics, with a strong background in analysis with application to partial differential equations.
Employment Details
Location: Clayton campus, Employment Type: Full-time, Duration: 18-month fixed-term appointment, Remuneration: $75,115 – $101,944 pa Level A (plus 17% employer superannuation).
