Eligibility

As a Petroleum Engineering graduate, you will be eligible for both Subsurface Engineering and Drilling & Completions Engineering Streams. These programs offer a comprehensive learning experience, equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the industry.

Subsurface Engineering

  • Characterise the recovery of hydrocarbons from the reservoir, and how this can be optimised
  • Involved in most stages of the asset lifecycle: exploration, appraisal, development and production
  • Day-to-day tasks include analysing reservoir and production data, creating and updating analytical and reservoir simulation computer models, and forecasting future production and reserves

Drilling & Completions Engineering

  • Responsible for working with area asset team and preparing well designs, cost estimates and detailed operational guidelines for new and existing wellbores to meet project objectives
  • Support incident response, project management, field supervision and cost/invoice review
