About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Brisbane. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant operational performance of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting base maintenance checks and troubleshooting line defects arising daily in the course of flight operations
  2. Conducting rectification of AOG defects and ensuring compliant management of tooling and GSE
  3. Contributing to business improvement and quality programs, as well as enterprise risk management activities
  4. Ensuring compliance with Occupational, Health, Safety & Welfare policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  1. Minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance experience
  2. Proven experience with Turboprop engines specific to RFDS QLD aircraft Types
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  4. Proven attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  5. Ability to pick up new computer applications
  6. Knowledge of the regulatory environment in relation to Aircraft Maintenance
