About the Role
As a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist, you will provide anesthesia services across various interventional specialties, excluding Cardiac Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Transplant Surgery. You will have opportunities to contribute to the education and mentoring of anaesthetic trainees, junior medical staff, medical students, and nursing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality anesthesia services to patients undergoing various surgical procedures
- Contribute to the education and mentoring of anaesthetic trainees and junior medical staff
- Promote excellence in patient care through collaboration with other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- AHPRA registration as a specialist in Anaesthetics or eligible to apply for such
- Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetics or current FANZCA report outcome assessment
- Demonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that expected of a specialist anaesthetist
