Site Development Engineer

The Site Development Engineer will be responsible for coordinating on-site engineering functions, ensuring projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications. This role will require strong technical skills, commercial experience, and a demonstrated commitment to health and safety.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
- Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports
- Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Area Manager
- Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects
Requirements
To be successful in this key role, you must have:
- A bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering
- Previous experience working on large-scale water infrastructure projects (or similar) advantageous
- 3-5+ years' postgraduate experience, ideally in a tier one contractor setting
- Leadership ability to provide mentorship to direct reports
- Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning and reporting on progress, cost, and risk
- Demonstrated personal commitment to health and safety
