About the Role

The University of Notre Dame Australia is seeking a skilled VET Trainer and Assessor to join our team. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we offer a range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses, including Education and Nursing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality training and assessment in Nursing programs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and lead learning sessions, ensuring effective delivery and assessment of learning outcomes.
  • Utilise flexible and inclusive learning techniques to cater to diverse student cohorts.
  • Maintain and develop professional expertise in educational and technical disciplines.
  • Liaise with industry partners and the community to ensure education and training are relevant and responsive to needs.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Nursing qualification (Category A – C).
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning.
