Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our team. As a Research Officer, you will be responsible for managing molecular biology and bioinformatic analyses for various projects.

You will assist the team with a range of duties including analysing genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomic datasets to identify mutations and analyse the functional effects of mutations in human and mouse genomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage bioinformatic analyses.
  • Perform RNA and ATAC sequencing analyses.
  • Conduct complete genome and exome sequencing analyses.
  • Contribute to high impact publications, manuscripts and reports.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Bioinformatics or Genetics coupled with strong experience in Bioinformatics and in analysing transcriptomic and proteomic data.

You should have demonstrated skills and experience in:

  • Experience in RNA sequencing analyses and ATAC-sequencing analyses.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and work productively as part of a team.
