We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join our major infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering complex infrastructure projects and providing commercial management services to our clients.

• Project Management: Manage communication between Turner & Townsend and the client, negotiate and agree contracts, and provide commercial management services under various forms of contract and payment mechanisms.
• Commercial Management: Timely assessment, valuation, and payment of works, ensuring compliance with any contractual procedural requirements relating to notices, particulars, and substantiation.
• Leadership: Lead contractual negotiations with clients and project stakeholders, identify financial and contractual risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Financial Management: Manage project budgets, advise on options to keep the budget on track, and produce and present profit and loss statements (CVR), monthly forecasts, and cash flows.
• Value Engineering: Apply technical and commercial knowledge to identify and implement value engineering solutions.
• Communication: Chair project meetings with clients and consultants, complete site surveillance reports and diaries, and review contractor's progress reports.
• Team Management: Mentor and support junior colleagues to grow and develop professionally.

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Chartered membership of relevant professional bodies (not essential).
• 4 - 10 years' experience working in complex, large-scale, and multi-disciplinary projects in transport and/or infrastructure.
• A natural relationship builder with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Able to anticipate and follow-through fully on tasks.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Able to demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent service.
