Fortescue's Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: 7D/7N/14R – FIFO ex Perth
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain FMG trains over the expanding FMG Network, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of ore from mine to port facilities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being flexible and proactive in meeting customer needs.
- Develop and coach junior operators and trainees to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Heavy haul experience preferred.
- Current medical fitness to operate a locomotive.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and safe working practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Current driver's license.
- Good computer literacy in MS Office software.
- Cert 4 Locomotive Driving.
- Ability to pass a Category 1 Safety Critical Worker medical.
