Role Overview

Henderson Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to lead and manage a diverse caseload focused on client independence. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing tailored therapy plans that make a difference in the lives of our clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will report to the Home Care Manager and be responsible for coordinating and leading occupational therapy assessments, designing and implementing individualized plans, and promoting wellness within the community. Your contributions will significantly impact our mission of providing quality, client-centered aged care.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop therapy programs tailored to client needs, ensuring effective goal attainment and enhanced quality of life.
  • Manage a caseload, prioritizing tasks and activities to ensure clients meet their wellness goals, while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Engage and educate clients, families, and caregivers to foster sustained care and support, promoting a collaborative approach to healthcare.
  • Provide comprehensive reports and recommendations for home modifications and equipment, ensuring seamless integration into the client's environment.
  • Collaborate with service providers and support workers to deliver cohesive and responsive care services.
