About the Role

Xero is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our Identity team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer and business value through ownership of new and existing products.

The successful candidate will manage products end-to-end, from early-stage research and ideation, through to implementation and improvement over time. Your impact will be measured by key commercial and customer success metrics.

You will work autonomously where appropriate, with the support of your product leadership team. As a Product Manager at Xero, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our customers' experiences and drive growth for the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively network across Xero to understand how products fit into Xero's strategy, objectives, and future.
  • Work directly with customers to conduct research, collect insights, or validate understanding, getting support from the broader product function as required.
  • Use customer data and insights to inform product roadmap and planning.
  • Define the scope of the customer problem and frame possible solutions to test, validate, and refine with the support of relevant team members.
  • Build strong relationships with the broader product function's teams, collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in developing a strategy for the product line, including securing funding and resourcing.
  • Take an active role in the annual and quarterly OKR process, with support from product leadership.
  • Manage risks arising from non-functional concerns, consulting with stakeholders and leading trade-off decisions.
  • Develop product roadmaps to execute on the product strategy and manage a product to its roadmap.
Requirements
  • A deep understanding of customer problems and needs.
  • Ability to articulate the product's value, functionality, and competitive industry trends.
  • Experience in developing product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage risks and lead trade-off decisions.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.
