Senior Software Engineer Role

This permanent position based in Surry Hills offers remote working flexibility and an attractive remuneration package. As a Senior Software Engineer/ Tech lead, you will report to the Senior Chapter Lead of Engineering in the Availability area of the Fulfilment Domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Engineering capabilities for your squad, working closely with the Senior Chapter Lead and Capability Leads across engineering to ensure maximum value contribution.
  • Form partnerships with Solution Architects and Technology leaders to implement the Group eCommerce platform strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to build and enhance capability, continuously improve tools/processes, and upskill your team.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as an engineering team leader, ideally within the retail or complex services sector.
  • Minimum 10 years professional experience with .Net technologies.
  • Dedication to building well-architected systems that process high volumes of data and communicate via Event Driven technologies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient with cloud services in Azure (preferred), GCP, or AWS.
  • Solid experience with NoSql database systems like MongoDB.
