About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay. As a key member of our community mental health team, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based psychological services to individuals and groups, with a focus on vocational interventions and therapeutic support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of psychological services, including assessment, treatment, support, and training options to individuals and groups.
  • Experience in delivering therapy using short-term vocational interventions.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records aligned to AHPRA best practice standards.
  • Manage your own diary and referrals.
  • Develop proposed treatment plans with individuals to outline goals of service provision.
  • Provide evidence-based services in a safe and therapeutic manner.
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to support the program and the delivery of therapeutic care.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology (Registered or Provisional) qualifications are required.
  • A thorough understanding of the theories relating to and the impact of trauma, abuse, and neglect on a person's development and well-being, as well as carryover effects into adulthood.
  • Understanding of and commitment to Strengths-Based practices and Recovery-Oriented models.
  • Excellent group facilitation skills and the ability to clearly articulate and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Drug, Alcohol, and other addictions.
  • An understanding of the employment services industry (desirable).
  • Current APHRA registration, or willingness and capability to obtain registration. We welcome Provisional or Student registrations.
  • Current Driver's Licence (and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle).
