We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Haematology Expert to join our team at Cairns Hospital. As a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist in Clinical & Pathology Haematology, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Haematology care to patients within the Cancer Care and Haematology service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director of Cancer Care to provide exceptional patient care
  • Continuously develop clinical knowledge and skills to improve patient outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient results

Benefits:

  • Remuneration value up to $497,941 p.a. (L25 – L27) or up to $455,624 p.a. (L18 – L24)
  • Employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%)
  • Professional development allowance and motor vehicle allowance
  • Professional development leave of 3.6 weeks p.a. and private practice arrangements

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified medical professional with experience in Haematology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
