Senior ICT Infrastructure Manager

The Senior ICT Infrastructure Manager plays a pivotal role in our organization, overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of ICT infrastructure services.

This is a key leadership position that requires a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, with 7+ years of experience in systems administration, ideally supported by a Graduate Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.

  • Ambitious individuals will thrive in this role, leveraging their technical expertise to drive business growth through efficient system lifecycle management, seamless integration of on-premises and cloud-based systems, and visionary project oversight.
  • Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining the smooth operation of both on-premises and cloud-based systems, including servers, networks, storage, backups, and data centers.
  • This includes overseeing upgrades, maintenance, and overall system lifecycle to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.
  • The successful candidate will lead and support the ICT Infrastructure team by managing workloads, mentoring staff, and encouraging professional growth.
  • Sponsor and provide technical leadership for infrastructure projects from planning to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and business goals.
  • Work with the Cyber Security team to identify and address potential security risks in our infrastructure, systems, and processes under their control.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring quick resolution and thorough root cause analysis.
Requirements
  • Possess a strong understanding of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), backup and disaster recovery (Veeam, Azure Site Recovery), and monitoring tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Splunk).
  • Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, including team development, project oversight, vendor management, and strategic input.
