About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Systems Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical expert to take ownership of complex technological environments and lead the design, integration, deployment, configuration, and fault management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to address complex solution requirements, providing clear and concise technical specifications and explaining the pros and cons of various options.
  • Delegate tasks to engineers, coordinate junior engineers' activities, and monitor work quality when necessary.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and maintain project documentation, suggesting improvements to standard operating procedures for installations and fixes.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, participate in complex solutions, and author architecture, design, and implementation documents.
  • Work independently, taking ownership of relevant technologies within your domain or specialisation, monitoring the quality of work produced by Engineers and Technicians, and recommending continuous improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An in-depth understanding and appreciation of technical solution design and business principles.
  • Strong project fundamentals demonstrated through successful installations and assignments.
  • Proven ability to take ownership as the technical lead throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Extensive specialist knowledge and expertise in relevant domains, particularly in Networking technologies such as EVPN VXLAN, Cisco SDAML, LS/Segment Routing, Overlay/Underlay WAN technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge in one or more of these areas.
  • Strong skills in Enterprise systems and solutions with multiple vendors technologies.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities, client-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications and certifications will be looked upon favourably:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
  • Professional level certifications in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCIE, JNCIE, ACMP etc.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including hybrid working arrangements and opportunities for career growth and development.
