Job Role:

The Underground Electrician will be responsible for providing day-to-day maintenance, breakdown, and installation expertise to our clients to ensure the essential continued operation of the electrical plant and equipment. This role offers various opportunities including installation, maintenance, and breakdown support for High-Voltage (HV) and Low-Voltage (LV) electrical systems in predominately underground environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Mine Site Projects (FIFO/DIDO): Install HV and LV cabling, switchgear, substations, and associated electrical infrastructure on mining sites.
  • Site Shift Relief (FIFO): Perform installation and preventative maintenance on underground electrical systems.
  • Complete fault finding, isolations, and inspections to identify faults.
  • Perform breakdown repairs on mobile and fixed plant equipment.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and certifications:

  • A Current WA Electrical Workers License or relevant electrical trace certificate.
  • Current C-Class Driver's License.
  • Current First Aid and LVR CPR.
  • HV Switching Ticket.
  • Working at Heights.
