About the Role

The Service Technician position is an exciting opportunity to join Rheem Australia as a key member of our team. The role is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of our range of products in the Melbourne metropolitan area.

As a skilled Plumber, you will be required to respond to allocated after-sales calls with a professional, pleasant, and outgoing manner. Your duties will include ensuring our products are installed and operate within design specifications and relevant standards, acting as a Plumbing Licence holder for Melbourne.

You will evaluate and rectify appliance problems efficiently and accurately, or install and commission an appliance in accordance with a quotation. Additionally, you will maintain knowledge and attend Rheem training across the full product range, including Rheem, Vulcan, Raypak, Edwards, and Solahart.

About You

We are looking for someone who is committed, motivated, energetic, and reliable. To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A trade qualification in Plumbing, Electrical, or Gas Fitting/Servicing;
  • An additional restricted license in Plumbing or Electrical;
  • A current driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle;
  • Comfortable use of electronic communication/information devices;
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19.
