As a leader in e-commerce, we're on the lookout for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our growing dev team. If you have a passion for mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction, this role is perfect for you.

About the Role

In this position, you'll focus on people leadership, technical excellence, and delivery outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and coaching engineers through regular 1:1s, career development, and actionable feedback
  • Driving a collaborative, inclusive, and autonomous engineering culture
  • Managing resource and capacity planning to align teams with delivery goals
  • Partnering with delivery stakeholders to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Guiding technical direction and enforcing best practices in design, scalability, and security
  • Overseeing performance reviews and supporting professional growth across the team

We're looking for someone with:

Requirements
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer (or similar technical role)
  • 3+ years in a leadership role mentoring and managing engineers
  • Proven success building and scaling high-performing engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture, and scalable systems
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to foster strong culture and collaboration
