Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality assessment and management of clients within the Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service.
  • Contribute to an interdisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal patient care.
  • Supervise OT staff and students, and contribute to quality improvement and research activities within the ABI Rehabilitation Service.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years clinical experience in occupational therapy.
  • Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, and eligibility for OTA membership.
  • Clinical experience and knowledge of client-centred, occupation-based practice for clients with acquired brain injury.
  • Demonstrated skills in both cognitive and physical assessment and intervention.
  • Experience working within an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitation.
  • Experience in supervision of junior staff or students is highly desirable.
  • Current Victorian Driver's license.
