Customer Service Operations Specialist

About the Opportunity- Location: Wonthaggi
- Job Type: Permanent Full Time
- Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales of concrete by taking customer orders, achieving accurate data entry into the Command system, and ensuring customers receive a positive experience. You will also manage the fleet within the geographical area, allocating resources efficiently to meet customer needs.
You will provide a support role to the Production Supervisors and the Area Operations Manager, assisting them to achieve Concrete Distribution and Customer Charter objectives. This includes leading the despatch team, monitoring effective bookings, and allocating the fleet to ensure high levels of customer service are achieved while gaining best cost efficiency.
About You- Punctual, positive, and efficient individual with strong administration skills
- Experience in logistics/transport industry preferred, but not required
- Understanding of the Construction/Concrete industry is an asset
- A genuine committed team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work supervised and autonomously, with attention to detail and commercial acumen
- Proactive approach to safety and ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads
