Warehouse Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This is a permanent position with opportunities for career growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including receiving and dispatching stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, and performing general maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A forklift ticket and manual handling experience are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and dispatching stock in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies.
  • Performing general maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and minor repairs.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar warehouse environment.
  • A valid forklift ticket.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
