About the Role

Safran Helicopter Engines Australia is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer requirements efficiently and effectively
  • Quotation, negotiations, dispatching and invoicing for spare parts, accessories, and tooling
  • Raise tooling rental contracts and manage rentals in conjunction with the Maintenance Centre
  • Arrange supply of spare parts and accessories for support contracts
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers on order status and forecasts
  • Prepare and liaise with Supply Chain for repair of customer owned accessories and tooling
  • Monitor Min/Max levels and inventory control of parts for customers in conjunction with Supply Chain
  • Track and provide follow up status to customers on equipment sent for repair
  • Process warranty claims in conjunction with Warranty Coordinator
  • Fulfil customer AOG orders and place AOG orders with Safran Helicopter Engines France or applicable subsidiaries as required
  • Take part in Aircraft On Ground (AOG) on call duty rotation

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years customer service experience ideally gained within commercial aviation environment OR high-paced administrative role experience
  • Previous experience in spare parts industry
  • Understanding of quality systems and airworthiness within aviation industry
  • Experience working within contractual obligations highly regarded

Salary and Benefits
