About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to join our team in Kalgoorlie, providing Health, Safety and Environment support across various work areas, including mine sites, workshops, offices, and yards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies, ensuring compliance with client and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor employee adherence to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Investigate incidents to determine root causes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely completion of HSE tasks and reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant HSE legislation, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Provide training and coaching to employees on general safety principles and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Work Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within the resources or construction industry.
