About the RoleMineset Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our client's team in North West Tasmania. As a key member of the planning and improvement team, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling and prioritization of shutdown work orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the scheduling and prioritization of shutdown work orders in the Pronto CMMS
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company's shutdown work management procedures
- Consult with maintenance supervisors, internal clients, and contractors to ensure effective planning and execution
- Communicate shutdown achievements and generate sign-off documents for each major shut event
- Develop shutdown organizational charts and MS Project Gantt charts
- Manage accurate record-keeping for all work orders in hard-copy and soft-copy format
- Review the effectiveness of shutdown contractors and advise findings to senior maintenance management
- Produce timely shutdown reporting data and maintain S-Curve style reports to assist in managing schedule timing and business risk
- Provide senior management with timely and detailed shutdown completion data
- Relevant trade or engineering qualification
- 4-5 years of experience in a maintenance planner role with shutdown and underground experience
- High level of computer literacy and prior experience using a CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team environment
