You will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalised care and support tailored to their unique needs and goals.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services, assisting clients in their daily living activities, promoting community integration, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans.
About You:
- Certificate III in Community Service or equivalent is highly regarded, however, if not held, we encourage applicants who are willing to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe.
- A minimum of 6 months experience is required, with opportunities available for candidates ready to learn on the job.
- We require a high level of fitness for manual handling tasks.
- The ideal candidate will have as much availability as possible, including sleepovers and active nights, with a willingness to work day shifts during weekends.
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWSC) is essential.
- A current and valid CPR and First Aid certificate is also necessary.
- A full driver's licence and valid work rights are mandatory requirements.
- The successful candidate will have successfully completed the NDIS Quality, Safety & You module.
