About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Machinery Technician to join our team at Spring Professional. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing routine service and maintenance on our heavy machinery, including diesel engines, vibro hammer packages, and impact hammers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct incoming inspections of equipment to identify any issues or damage
  • Assess work or repairs required and provide cost estimates to customers
  • Perform routine service and maintenance on diesel engines, vibro hammer packages, and impact hammers
  • Install beam and double clamp assemblies onto vibro hammer packages
  • Strip and rebuild impact hammer and vibro hammer packages
  • Install sleeve assemblies onto impact hammers
  • Operate heavy lift equipment and use hydraulic power tools for assembly and disassembly of equipment
  • Liaise with customers to discuss and troubleshoot any issues
  • Travel to sites to commission equipment and train customers' personnel in its use
