High-Stakes Commercial Litigator

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Disputes Lawyer to join our team in Sydney.
- Candidates will work on high-value and strategically significant contract/commercial disputes and arbitrations.
- They must have experience gained from a well-regarded firm, particularly general commercial litigation and/or regulatory litigation.
- An excellent academic transcript is required along with an ability to confidently communicate with others across the firm.
This role sits in our Sydney office, however, you will be joining an integrated Global Disputes team of more than 200 lawyers in 27 offices worldwide.
You will work on some of the largest and most complex matters in Australia and internationally.
The right candidate will work closely with partners of a US law firm who are looking for strong litigation lawyers for their Global Disputes practice in Sydney.
Requirements:- A strong background as a litigation lawyer with 3-6 years of post-admission experience.
- An ability to handle class action defence and resolution, royal commissions and parliamentary inquiries.
- Experience in investigations and enforcement actions by ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC, ACCC, law enforcement and various corruption investigation bodies.
- Globally significant test case litigation brought by the Australian Government.
- Sensitive internal investigations for major corporate clients spanning fraud, corruption and misconduct allegations.
