The Agronomist will play a pivotal role in leading the rural products sales team and overseeing this function within the branch. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing onsite agronomic and technical support to clients to recommend appropriate products and services.
• Achieving allocated financial objectives and assisting with product forecasting and inventory management.
• Promoting branch staff upskilling by providing technical advice and product recommendations.
• Developing and fostering professional relationships with a targeted group of existing and new clients.
• Identifying and cultivating new agronomic sales opportunities for prospective and existing clients.
• Maximising promotional opportunities, including assisting at field days and farmer meetings with demonstrations and trial work.
• Leading and mentoring the rural products sales team to build strong client relationships, promote beneficial products, and enhance business success.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A qualification in Agronomy with experience in broadacre.
• Ability to provide high-level customer service and cultivate relationships with potential and current growers.
