Teaching Position

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality education and care for students at Mater Dei Catholic College.
  • Support the Principal with the educational mission of the College community.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • NSW NESA Accreditation.
  • NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools).
  • Demonstrated expertise as a classroom practitioner.
  • An informed understanding of inclusive, learner-centred pedagogy.
  • An informed understanding of the role of formative and summative assessment in providing feedback that advances student learning.
  • Ability to teach another subject.
