Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled full-stack developer to join our rapid prototyping team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for building and updating our website and mobile apps to support high-priority business initiatives.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. We offer a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where you can take ownership of your work and contribute to delivering meaningful improvements in the quality of our customers' lives.

You will work closely with the Head of Tech, Senior Full-Stack Developer, and UX Designer to deliver high-quality results. We move fast, break things when needed, and prioritize learning quickly and delivering value.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, working on pressing business priorities, and being close to the action. If you are comfortable with a bit of chaos, enjoy figuring things out on the fly, and like being part of a dynamic team, then this could be the perfect fit for you.

As a full-stack developer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including new product and service launches, marketing campaigns, and customer-facing initiatives. You will also have the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Product Development, Marketing, and Medical teams.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with React (web), TypeScript, Next.js, CSS.
  • Solid understanding of backend development, especially with Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS (Postgres), Lambda, and API Gateway.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for web applications.
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests.
  • Proficient with Git/version control in a collaborative, multi-developer environment.

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design and service integration.
  • Understanding of performance testing and frontend/backend optimization techniques.
  • Experience working with data encryption and secure data storage.
  • Familiarity with modern authentication protocols, such as OAuth 2.0.
  • Exposure to IoT cloud platforms and device integration workflows.
  • Experience with React Native/Expo.
