As a seasoned technical specialist, you will play a pivotal role in resolving complex problems and ensuring the seamless operation of our networks and infrastructure. You will collaborate with stakeholders to diagnose and resolve issues, activate or repair services, and deliver value to customers.You will work within the Global Networks & Technology team, overseeing our world-class network across Australia and connecting businesses globally. We offer 16 weeks of paid parental leave, a laptop allowance, purchased annual leave scheme, and discounted products and services.In this role, you will provide real-time incident management best practices for IP and inter-carrier transport technologies. You will focus on responding, troubleshooting, and restoring customer and network incidents while achieving operational excellence through meeting SLA's/OLA's targets.Responsibilities include:
  • Responding and restoring complex incidents for all aspects of the IP Network
  • Collaborating with technical experts and field workforce to facilitate incident restoration
  • Providing updates on incident progress to stakeholders and senior management
  • Driving towards restoration of customer-impacting network faults within prescribed Service Level agreements
Essential requirements include experience in 24x7 Incident Management environments, strong knowledge of routing and network switching, and relevant experience in IP and qualifications. Strong customer engagement skills, broad analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are also required.Desirable skills include programming skills such as Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL, and experience with tools like Splunk, Kentik, iPerf, Wireshark, and Grafana.
